About Security Service Systems
Security Service Systems is a family-owned security company serving Westside Los Angeles since 1940. We provide alarm installation and monitoring, and uniformed officers for community patrols. Our subscribers are residential homeowners and small business owners across Culver City, Ladera Heights, Westchester, Del Rey, Venice and the surrounding neighborhoods.
Mission statement
Our goal is to help keep our communities safe. We are out to observe and report. We work closely with the L.A.P.D. and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
What we do
Alarm installation and monitoring — systems installed and monitored by our own technicians, with our dispatchers answering the signal.
Neighborhood and commercial patrol — uniformed officers in marked vehicles on subscription routes and commercial properties.
Guard services — officers for private property and events.
Vacation watch — we look after your property while you are away.

Licensed in California. We hold a Private Patrol Operator licence (PPO 16006) and an Alarm Company Operator licence (ACO 6266). Every officer is state-licensed and background-checked — not every company advertising “patrol” is.
